HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and management of power systems for complex defense and technology projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering principles with a focus on power generation, distribution, and control, as well as the ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

• Performs engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, and/or chemical.
• Provide review of GFI or CFI provided by the alteration sponsor/PARM and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the necessary electrical power interface.
• Provide technical oversight of power system hardware by reviewing documentation such as electrical and mechanical schematics, test plans and data packages.
• Support system level testing events performed in both laboratory and relevant environments.
• Lead for interface with equipment In-Service Engineering Agencies (ISEA), Combat Systems Engineering Agents (CSEA) and Software Support Activities (SSA) as required.

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field. 4 years of additional equivalent experience can be substituted for a BA/BS
• Candidate must be a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or graduating college senior who is in good academic standing and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required prior to starting employment.
