Vulnerability Management Engineer - Cloud Security - Remote​/Telecommute

Overview

Job Description:

Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr

• Configure and maintain security policies, rules, and controls within Wiz to align with organizational security requirements.
• Monitor and triage security findings from Wiz, coordinating with relevant teams for remediation.
• Create and maintain documentation related to compliance controls and standards.
• Perform regular reviews of Wiz security findings and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Partner with cloud engineering teams to implement security best practices and resolve identified issues.
• Assist in incident response activities when Wiz identifies potential security issues.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Deep understanding of cloud security concepts, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience with cloud security tools and cloud-native security controls
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication abilities and experience working with cross-functional teams.

• Direct experience with Wiz platform.
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Experience with healthcare compliance standards like HIPAA and HITRUST
• Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD security integration.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
