ATO Sourcing Strategy Leader – GE Aerospace
The Advanced Technology Strategic Sourcing Leader will develop and influence strategy across the buying and delivery teams within ATO Sourcing. This role focuses on establishing a dedicated advanced combat supply base and advancing suppliers from one‑off development to full‑rate production. By driving initiatives across the Edison Works Sourcing team, the leader will eliminate waste and enhance efficiencies. Collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, program, finance, product operations and compliance teams is essential to influence policy and drive business outcomes through GE Aerospace Flight Deck Lean principles.
Roles and Responsibilities- Optimize parts and material definitions at the R&D stage to simplify sourcing.
- Apply deep disciplinary expertise and strong commercial awareness to shape strategy and influence policy within the area.
- Lead functional teams or projects with limited resources, risk, and complexity, communicating challenging concepts and guiding others toward alternative viewpoints.
- Impact the team’s ability to meet service, quality, and timeliness objectives and advise management on functional and business matters.
- Use high-level judgment to make decisions and resolve complex problems affecting the function, drawing on internal and external information to provide recommendations.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college and at least 5 years of sourcing, procurement, or related experience.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Salary range: $116,000–$154,000. Candidates’ experience, education and location may influence the offer. Eligible for performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
