Acu Tech Consulting Group is growing rapidly, and we are seeking highly qualified and motivated Senior Process Safety Engineering Consultants with experience in the Hydrogen, Green Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical Industry for work within our European team to help fuel our growth. As part of Acu Tech’s European PSM team, you will work directly with our clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem‑solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives, while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have strong experience in technical, process safety activities and high technical acumen, be self‑motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively with peers, and handle multiple work assignments and projects.

Main assignments will be on site performing process safety engineering work, e.g. facilitating PHAs and LOPAs, conducting incident investigations and PSM audits, delivering PSM training and various other process safety management needs.

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in a related engineering field (i.e., chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety)
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in technical process safety, across the Hydrogen Fuels, Oil & Gas industry or Chemical and Petrochemical industries. Experience must include facilitation of multiple PHAs, LOPAs and Audits and understanding of PSM management systems and QRA.
• Proven ability to influence and lead cross‑functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively with peers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development.
• Relevant experience in process safety management, experience in process or engineering design processes, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.
• Ability for business development, including but not limited to developing proposals and making presentations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.
• Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programs.
• Experience in developing, writing, & implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, & standard operating procedures.
