Ericsson is seeking a Senior Consulting Sales Engineer to grow our Enterprise 5G business. This high‑impact, customer‑facing role blends deep technical expertise with consultative selling and innovative solution problem‑solving.
Remote position. Candidate can be based (remotely or hybrid) in one of the following states:
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert in Ericsson’s Enterprise 5G solutions, focusing on Private Cellular Networks and Neutral Host coverage extension.
- Collaborate with sales and partner teams to identify customer challenges and craft tailored solutions.
- Lead cross‑functional technical pre‑sales engagements and create key artifacts: solution design, proposal development, RFX responses, quotes and statements of work.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to technical and executive audiences.
- Author white papers, blogs, and thought leadership content to support market development.
- Work cross‑functionally to enhance Ericsson’s market position and customer value.
- Rapidly ramp up on Ericsson’s portfolio and become a trusted advisor.

- Proven experience in pre‑sales for Private Cellular Networks (PCN)
- Proven experience working with Enterprises, especially in industry verticals such as mining, manufacturing, energy, ports, airports, transportation, logistics
- Experience with indoor cellular networks:
Neutral Host / Cellular coverage extension and/or DAS a plus - Background in defining, delivering, and selling cellular network solutions to Enterprises
- Experience working with business and sales strategy in a technical sales environment
- Proven experience leading virtual technical teams
- Deep understanding of cellular network architecture and technologies
- Broad technical competence in private networks, RAN, core, transport, IT networks. Indoor coverage extension / neutral host a plus.
- Expertise in Ericsson RAN portfolio, cellular frequency bands across North America, including CBRS
- Strong consultative selling and customer engagement skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, from technical to C‑level audiences
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
- Skilled in proposal development, solution strategy, and detailed solution documentation
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and accountability management, focus on team success
- Experience with DAS solutions and deployment lifecycle
- Experience authoring technical content such as white papers and blogs
- Familiarity with Ericsson’s broader portfolio and ecosystem
- Exposure to working with global teams and diverse customer segments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience across cellular networks, private networks, enterprise sales, solutioning, deployment, or operations

Compensation:
Variable compensation plan includes sales commissions within Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Variable Compensation Plan. Health benefits include subsidized PPO medical benefit options. Financial benefits include 401(k) plan with 4% company match. Paid time off: 15 days vacation, 3 personal days, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours volunteer time, 80 hours sick time, 16 weeks maternity leave, 6 weeks parental/adoption leave.
