E&C Engineer

Duration: 12 months

Work Schedule: 40-hour week (typically 7:00–3:30 or 7:30–4:00). Limited overtime during outages/construction season.

• Responsible for the design, modeling, development, and testing of a machine, structure, or system. Develops functional requirements and understands and applies standard engineering principles. Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure, or system operates. Designs and tests components and integrates components to produce the final product. Monitors the quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes.
  
  Evaluates a design’s overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
• Manage capital projects at our Hydro facilities in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
• Travel anticipated to Hydro plants to efficiently plan and execute work scope.
• Office locations available in Minneapolis, MN, and/or Eau Claire, WI when not working at Hydro facility.
• Some limited remote work allowed (less than 20%) depending on project status and as preapproved by manager.
