Security​/Certification Engineer

PAY: $80-86/hour W2.Our company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance.

Position requires a US Citizens only due to national security regulations.

Manager Updates

• Common Criteria Certification Validation and FIPS 140-3 focused – this for Federal government business, products that have to be used in Government offices, they need to be CC certified and FIPS validated.
• Seeking 5+ years’ experience – experience with CC Certification of MOBILE devices, would be great. Knowledge around Android highly desired.
• Seeking hands-on person, should have CC and FIPS related documentation, and they’ll have to write specifications + documentations directly.
• Acknowledges this is a niche position, involving validation of cryptographic modules, working with labs etc.
• MUST have experience with CCC and FIPS 140-3 Validation (140-2 alone will NOT suffice) – someone that has and can validate independently end to end.

• 5+ years of technical experience in Common Criteria evaluations NIAP-managed Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS or Scheme) of any product in the US scheme.
• Mobile device and Software knowledge highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Information Science, Information Assurance/Cybersecurity, or equivalent degree (Master's Degree preferred).
• Knowledge of common security related protocols and their design (i.e., SSH, IPsec, TLS, etc.)
• Be highly proficient in FIPS 186-4/5, SP 800-186, SP800-90B and the FIPS 140-3 requirements and have knowledge around the cryptographic encryption algorithms, key exchange algorithms, hashing/message authentication algorithms, PKI, random number generators.
