Basic QualificationsEducation Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job‑related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 6 years of job‑related experience.
Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for This PositionSign‑on bonus available up to $5,000, depending on qualifications.
Role and Position ObjectivesAs an advanced electrical engineer, you will be part of a cross‑functional team responsible for design, integration, and test. Our customers approach us to solve their most demanding problems, and most of our projects require a considerable amount of creative thinking and a willingness to develop new solutions and take measured risks. As an engineer on our team, you would have the opportunity to gain broad electrical design experience and gain mentorship from others with decades of background in multiple technical disciplines.
Whatsets you apart
- Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leadership or Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
- Analog and mixed-signal circuit analysis, including Hyperlynx (PI and SI) and LTSpice
- High‑voltage regulator design and associated design rules
- Digital backplane design (e.g., 3U VPX) in compliance with VITA / SOSA specifications
- Collaborative team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- Interdisciplinary engineering insights, bridging the gap between electrical, mechanical, and software engineering
- Proficient in electrical engineering circuit card design and mixed‑signal circuit analysis
- Habitually ahead of technology trends, with background in test, troubleshooting
- Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
- Research & Development experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing
