We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Sr Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This role involves leading and executing geotechnical investigations and foundation designs for both commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong consulting ability to work collaboratively with our geotechnical team.
Responsibilities- Conduct site investigations and foundation designs for commercial and residential projects.
- Perform geotechnical analyses and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Engage in soil testing and laboratory analyses to support project requirements.
- Participate in business development efforts to expand our client base.
- Collaborate with the geotechnical team in Tallahassee, requiring occasional travel.
- Maintain a balance between office work and remote engagements in a hybrid role.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with at least 8 years of consulting experience.
- Expertise in geotechnical engineering and geotechnical analysis.
- Proficiency in foundation design and soil investigations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in soil testing and laboratory work is advantageous.
- Familiarity with business development processes is a plus.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a mix of office-based and remote work. It includes occasional travel to Tallahassee for team collaboration. The role provides flexibility while maintaining a commitment to high‑quality project delivery.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $40.10 - $60.10 per hour.
