Senior Project Manager – Site/Civil Engineering

Location:

Tyler, TX | Hybrid Work Schedule (3 Days Remote)

Are you a driven civil engineer with a passion for land development and a desire to help grow a high-performing regional office? We’re working with a nationally recognized, multi-office engineering consulting firm that’s seeking a Senior Project Manager to help lead and expand their land development practice in Tyler, TX.

This firm is a well-established player in the industry, with 50+ offices across the U.S. and internationally, and over 2,000 employees strong. Their Tyler office, however, operates more like a close-knit family—blending the resources of a large firm with the culture of a tight, entrepreneurial team. With long-tenured staff and a leadership group committed to mentorship and growth, this is a great place to put down roots and build a meaningful career.

What

You’ll Do:

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on a variety of land development and site/civil projects—from residential communities and institutional campuses to commercial centers, data centers, and industrial parks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading design and permitting efforts from concept through completion.

  • Overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, utility design, and erosion control.

  • Leading or supporting stormwater management and hydrologic/hydraulic analyses.

  • Mentoring junior staff and collaborating closely with regional leadership.

  • Building and maintaining client relationships—with the opportunity to contribute to business development efforts at your own pace.

  • Helping shape the strategic direction and growth trajectory of the Tyler office and beyond.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

  • PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain it quickly).

  • 10+ years of land/site/civil design experience

  • Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a collaborative mindset.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.

  • Someone who either brings client relationships—or is eager to develop them within 12–18 months.

  • Open to candidates with municipal or public works experience who are excited to transition into land development.

Why This Role?
  • Flexibility: Hybrid schedule with 3 days/week work from home.

  • Growth Potential: Be part of a firm aiming to triple its Texas team over the next 4 years.

  • Culture: The Tyler office is more than just a workplace—it's a supportive, team-oriented environment where people genuinely enjoy working together.

  • Compensation: Competitive salary with a generous performance bonus and long-term leadership potential.

If you’re looking for a new challenge where you can lead impactful projects, grow your career, and be part of a team that feels like family—this could be the perfect next step.
