This position reports to Global Sales Manager - Metallurgy.

Join ABB Metallurgy Products, a global leader in Electromagnetic Stirring and Braking systems, where we empower the steel and aluminum industries to "outrun - leaner and cleaner." As our new Area Sales Manager for North America, you'll drive sales and help customers in NAM improve efficiency, save resources, and significantly reduce emissions. This role reports to the Global Sales and Marketing Manager, Metallurgy products, and is the US, requiring approximately 50% travel.

This role is contributing to the Metallurgy Products, Business Line Metals, part of the Process Industries division.

• Lead and grow sales in North America, managing volume and margin targets.
• Develop strategic market plans and build long-term customer relationships.
• Drive new business opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects of offers, collaborating across teams.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and support strategic sales initiatives.

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in Process Industries (steel / aluminum preferred)
• Strong technical sales and customer relationship background
• Knowledge of steelmaking processes (continuous casting / EAF a plus)
• Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
• Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
• Proactive mindset and a strong "can-do" attitude
