Description York IT Solutions is hiring Industrial Engineering Technician in contract and onsite capacity.

OverviewThe Field Technician II role is network field management focused, and will apply broad knowledge and working experience with networking concepts in the operation, maintenance, and management of telecommunication networks as a member of an experienced multi-vendor multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a variable work environment that interfaces with multiple inter- and intra-office personnel/departments.
Project overviewHave to be able to support/maintain all communications all across CO. Alamar DATA, scada, Test DSL circuits.
Typical day- Largely field based.
- Will report to a service center in the morning to receive jobs for the day.
- Will be getting site tickets via Service Now queue.
- Start day look at queue and go from there.
- Needs to be self-managed.
Working closely with Leads. 18 other techs.
Skills & Qualifications- 5-7 years of experience with prior telecommunications/voice/data background.
- Knowledge of Cat 5/6, fiber optics; knowing the difference between.
- Valid DL; vehicle will be provided. Preferably a clean record.
- Knowledge of SAP. Dealing with level II, level III networking.
- Sienna/Nokia networks.
- Must have the ability to learn.
- Some knowledge of Service Now.
- PPE provided ts will be expensed.
- High school diploma is fine, field experience over education.
- Bacsi certification, nice to have. Nokia certification, CISCO certifications/boot camp.
