Wir suchen Sie als Systems Engineer - Eurofighter Mission Support Systems (m/w/d) in Manching.

In Platform Operational Support, the department develops IT-based Mission Support Systems for all flying platforms in the portfolio, such as Eurofighter, A400M, Eurodrone, Tornado and FCAS. For the development of this modern IT system developed with agile methods, the jobholder will be in direct contact with pilots of the German Air Force. As part of a self-orgaized, international and multifunctional team, with software developers, testers as well as operational consultants, the jobholder will further develop the system, taking into account current trends in military aviation.

• Modeling of system designs in an agile approach for functional areas of the system Further development of functions such as route calculation, POIs, Graphical Information System, database, IT security, taking into account higher-level architectural goals and optimization in the case of necessary trade-offs
• Creation of software requirements and close coordination with the software developers, during their development, implementation and verification
• Creation of automated system and software tests Participation in and preparation of meetings with customer representatives as well as internal stakeholders
• Supporting the further development of the agile way of working as a team task

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Informatik, im Ingenieurwesen, Maschinenbau, Systems Engineering oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Grundkenntnisse in Systems Engineering
• Interesse an den Prozessen der Planung und Durchführung von militärischen Luftoperationen ist zwingend erforderlich
• Kenntnisse in der Gestaltung von IT-Systemen und im Anforderungsmanagement unter Einbeziehung anderer Disziplinen wie z.B. Software Engineering sind erforderlich
• Kenntnisse von Werkzeugen zur Projektsteuerung (Jira, Confluence), Anforderungsmanagement (IBM DOORS, Jama) und Versionskontrolle (Git) sind von Vorteil
• Erfahrung mit agilen Entwicklungsprojekten unter Verwendung von Scrum, SAFe oder Kanban ist von Vorteil
• Verhandlungssichere Sprachkenntnisse in Englisch, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
• Fähigkeit, kreativ und problemlösend zu denken
