Field Service Engineer - San Antonio, TX

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the San Antonio, TX Service Organization, fully remote.

Responsibilities:

• Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair of Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Provide excellent and efficient service to Beckman Coulter’s customers, including technical training on products.
• Maintain customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times.
• Travel throughout the district territory to service Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Microbiology Platforms.

Essential Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent military experience.
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.

Travel, Driver’s License, and

Physical Requirements:

• 10–20% overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs unassisted; frequent bending, stooping, twisting, turning, crouching, pushing, pulling, sitting/standing for extended periods; reach and hand dexterity.

Preferred Experience:

• Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Equipment Technician, or Healthcare Technology management experience.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $33.00–$36.00.
• Eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
