Role: Sales engineers are vital to our company, combining technical expertise with customer engagement to support market share growth. They serve as a bridge between sales and engineering, understanding both the product and customer needs, and providing technical solutions and value engineering on projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Understand product specifications, design principles, installation guidelines, and limitations.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact with engineering professionals through site visits, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Solution Development: Develop solutions tailored to customer requirements using technical knowledge.
  • Sales Support: Assist sales with design input, submittals, estimates, presentations, and deal closure.
  • Dealer Support: Support dealer sales with technical input, submittals, and closing deals.
  • Training and Support: Conduct preconstruction meetings, field evaluations, and onsite support for product installation issues.
  • Competencies:

    • Effective communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Ability to translate technical info into clear explanations.
    • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal teams.
    • Experience in presenting solutions convincingly.
    • High technical proficiency and ongoing learning.
