• Perform engineering design and production of roadway projects for public agencies, including the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), Maricopa County, and others. ADOT project experience is preferred.
• Prepare construction document deliverables including plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Maintain quality control of work products and strive to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with professional engineers within Burgess & Niple’s Arizona operations and across the firm.
• Create an exemplary client experience throughout project delivery.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring for developing staff.
• Participate in strategic business planning for Arizona operations, development of client relationship assignments, and assessment of new business opportunities.
• Represent Burgess & Niple in meetings.
• Monitor project performance indicators, including schedules and budgets.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited programs.
• PE registration in the State of Arizona required or the ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Proven project delivery with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs.
• Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Open Roads Designer) expected for work with Arizona public agencies.
