Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $/yr

• Lead and manage survey efforts for DOT and public works projects, including topographic, ROW, LiDAR, UAV, boundary, and construction layout surveys.
• Prepare and review legal descriptions, ROW maps, and survey deliverables.
• Work directly with engineers and project managers on highway and infrastructure design.
• Ensure compliance with UDOT, FHWA, and local standards.
• Guide survey teams and mentor junior staff (as interested).
• Support proposals and help identify new project opportunities.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC for survey documents and data.

• Active Utah PLS license (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
• 5+ years of land surveying experience, with some leadership or PM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of transportation, ROW, and boundary survey work.
• Experience with Trimble/Leica, Civil 3D, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Utah survey and mapping requirements (county, UDOT, or municipal).
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage projects independently and work directly with clients.
