Overview

Pro Sidian seeks a Safety Compliance and Oversight Specialist [DOE
0108107] for program support on a contract contingent basis (W-2) supporting DOE EM Hanford. The role is generally located across the CONUS with initial site location at Richland, Washington, supporting a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance.

Position details:
Environmental Management Sector experience is desired; role may convert to a full-time Pro Sidian employed W-2 position.

• Provide safety compliance and oversight services for the Hanford Field Office (HFO) as part of Environmental Management (DOE-EM/HFO) programs.
• Conduct safety assessments, oversee compliance, track metrics, and support incident investigations for the AMSE/AMSQ function and related disciplines (Electrical, Facility Representation, Industrial Hygiene/OH&S, Training, Environmental/Regulatory, Safety and Security Enforcement, Nuclear Safety, Criticality Safety, Engineering, and Regulatory Support Services).
• Offer safety oversight for the Waste Treatment Plant, ensuring adherence to safety programs and standards; provide expert guidance to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
• Work within the defined Job Task categories for AMSE/AMSQ, with on-site and some remote support as approved; support may vary period to period (±15%).

• 5–8+ years of safety/security oversight; DOE experience preferred.
• BS in Safety/Industrial Hygiene; CSP/CIH helpful.
• Experience supporting Oversight and General Support Services under AMSE/AMSQ in DOE or similar programs is desirable.

• Program and project management support for daily activities.
• Safety inspections, compliance analysis, and reporting.
• Observation, coaching, vigilance; teamwork and communication with stakeholders at all levels.

• Develop safety performance dashboards and participate in Safety compliance & oversight activities for Hanford Field Office (HFO) General Support Services.
• Place of performance:
  Hanford Site, Richland, Washington; travel as coordinated and approved; security clearances as required (Facility Clearance; DOE clearance when performing classified work).

Field-based role with PPE required.
