At Jones Edmunds, we help communities thrive through innovative engineering and consulting solutions. We’re looking for an Entry-Level Engineer (Engineer Intern) with a passion for water/wastewater engineering to join our growing Utilities team.

Key Responsibilities- Assist with the design and modeling of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and permit applications to support water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and report preparation to ensure effective, sustainable solutions.
- Work with experienced engineers to develop pump station layouts, pipeline alignments, and treatment plant improvements.
- Engage in continuing professional development to build technical expertise in water/wastewater design.
- Support quality control efforts, ensuring that all deliverables meet Jones Edmunds’ Quality Program standards.
- Communicate project progress and challenges to supervisors, meeting deadlines and contributing to team success.
- Education:
BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university. - Registration:
Engineer Intern (EI) - Experience:
No prior experience required; 1-year student internship or a master’s degree preferred. - Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Esri ArcGIS, stormwater modeling software, or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred. - Other:
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
