CS CSU O&M Training Specialist – LNG Project

An LNG production and export facility in Texas is seeking an experienced O&M Training Specialist with strong knowledge of Operator Training Simulator (OTS) delivery and technical training for LNG or hydrocarbon facilities.

• Contract: 1-year with possibility of extension
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, on-site, per diem provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver OTS Training for operations personnel during both home office and site phases
• Develop and implement training programs, scenarios, and assessments
• Coordinate with project and client teams to ensure compliance with training plans
• Supervise training logistics, materials, and quality reviews to improve effectiveness
• Support the preparation of operational manuals, safety/security procedures, and compliance with federal and state requirements
• Represent the Training Manager when required and provide operational guidance to assigned trainees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years of directly related work experience
• Minimum 5 years in training and development for operations personnel in complex processing plants (LNG or hydrocarbons preferred)
• Hands-on experience with OTS Training methodologies and delivery
• Proven ability to develop and present effective training materials, reports, and technical content
• Knowledge of operations and maintenance projects, training programs, and competency development
