Data Center Mechanical Commissioning Provider

Overview

Data Center Mechanical Cx Provider at Salas O’Brien. This is a 100% remote position with approximately 50-70% travel to commissioning sites. It is a full-time, salaried role reporting to the Mission Critical Cx Operations Manager. • Coordinate with general contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and the owner verbally and in writing.
• Perform Cx Design reviews including OPR, BOD, Plans and Specifications.
• Review submittals and shop drawings.
• Perform periodic Site Observation Visits during construction and prepare Site Observation Reports.
• Develop project-specific test scripts including Level 2 Installation Verification Checklists and Level 4/Level 5 testing as applicable.
• Perform Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Integrated Systems Tests (IST).
• Be responsible for onsite execution and witnessing of tests.
• Manage the resolution of Commissioning Issues.
• Work around live components, three-phase AC power systems, DC power systems, and fire alarm systems.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning and project management experience.
• Experience in design and/or construction of hyperscale Data Centers.
• Professional Engineering License is a plus.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety is required; OSHA 30-hour is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems.
• Field experience is preferred.
• Certification in Building Commissioning is not required but preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings.

  The expected base salary range is $90,000 - $140,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
