SAIC is seeking engineers to provide Site Implementation support to the FAA Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization. These positions are 100% remote when not traveling and require up to 30% travel within the United States.
Job Responsibilities- Assist with FDIO modifications.
- Read site drawings.
- Install and validate hardware and software.
- Fabricate and test cables.
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field and 9+ years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees.
- Knowledge of computer hardware comparable to CompTIA A+ certification.
- Knowledge of cable paths and protocols.
- Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
- Flexible personality, self‑motivated, and willing to multi‑task.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000
