Overview
Distribution Designer or Engineer needed for a direct opportunity with Execu
POWER. Remote Position in Delaware or Maryland.
- Prepare and revise a variety of maps, diagrams, drawings and other records of Execu
POWER's and client's facilities and system through CAD/GIS media, Micro Station, and PLS-CADD - Maintain quality and integrity of the data stored in Execu
POWER's and client's electronic records management systems - Perform field surveys and accurately identify field equipment for interpretation on design drawings
- Prepare and revise design, construction and as-built drawings, sketches, tracings, or CAD/GIS, Micro Station, and PLS-CADD files under the direction of a responsible engineer or others
- Ability to interpret client standards and apply to design drawings and material reservations
- Comply with quality control, safe work practices, and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget
- Ability and willingness to differentiate color-coded drawings and plans
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours (including holidays and weekends) with little or no notice and on-call during storms and system emergencies
- Ability and willingness to adhere to safety regulations and policies and to wear and use safety equipment as required by Federal, State, local regulations, and Execu
POWER and client requirements - Ability and willingness to work in a variety of work environments including outdoors in all weather conditions, on or around energized electrical equipment, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dirty environments
- Domestic travel to client locations in Delaware & Maryland is required.
- Associate degree in Computer Aided Design, Applied Science, Engineering Technology, or related field OR the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience OR Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Ability and willingness to perform a second role in accordance with client's Emergency Preparedness Guidelines for all employees
- Must possess a valid driver's license
