Your work will play a vital role in ensuring resilient, efficient, and regulatory‑compliant utility systems that serve growing communities across the U.S.

  • Prepare clear technical documentation, model summaries, maps, and visualizations to support internal teams and client presentations.
  • Assist in field data collection and site visits to support model calibration, including flow monitoring and utility hole inspections.
  • Extract and process GIS data, survey files, and utility records to build and update system models.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to integrate modeling results into design documents, reports, and permit applications.
  • Participate in the development of stormwater management plans, sanitary sewer evaluations, and water distribution system assessments.
  • Ensure modeling efforts meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements (EPA, FEMA, state DEPs).
  • Contribute to QA/QC processes to ensure data integrity, model accuracy, and consistency across deliverables.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (master’s degree a plus).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for municipal utility systems.
  • EIT certification required; PE license or ability to obtain within 12‑24 months preferred.
