Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and managing site development projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Design and Management:

  • Design and develop site engineering plans, including grading, drainage, utility layout, and erosion control.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
  • Utilize engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Storm
    
    CAD, Hydro
    
    CAD) for project design and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, landscape architects, and environmental consultants.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications:

• Education and Licensure:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in civil/site engineering, preferably within a consulting firm.
  • Proven experience in site development, stormwater management, and utility design.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and industry best practices.
