The opportunity with Mc KinstryWe are adding a Senior MEP Program Manager to our dynamic team growing our Active Ops work in Tampa, FL. The Senior MEP Program Manager will lead technical project delivery across complex multi‑offering projects within the Technical Services business. In this role, you will influence cross‑functional teams in the planning, discovery, and implementation of Active Ops services for clients to improve energy, commissioning, maintenance, and operational efficiency of facilities.
This position will play a key role in the Active Ops program evolution and provides subject matter expertise support to business development.
- Ensure effective project delivery from initial project opportunity identification through stabilization of Active Ops services.
- Plan program and project milestones and schedule for implementation.
- Establish program goals and Key Performance Indicators to meet client needs.
- Ensure client satisfaction with project and program transitions.
- Oversee program and project evaluation, collecting feedback to incorporate into best practices and program evolution.
- Own project performance through the turnover of operations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact with the customer during project implementation.
- Act as a steward of all company policies and procedures.
- Respond to stakeholders with accurate and timely information to facilitate company decision‑making.
- Exercise global decision making by considering other departments within the company such as project management, sales and estimating, accounting, purchasing, etc.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Work with a large client base including the owner and business leaders for the company.
- Takes ownership of projects as assigned by Operations Director.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience with mechanical systems, construction management, and commissioning.
- Expertise in achieving successful owner outcomes through program and project management.
- Expertise in communication / teaming / internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
