Environmental Compliance Specialists

Overview

NORTHERN VIRGINIA REGION (LEESBURG, FAIRFAX, FREDERICKSBURG) SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA REGION (WILLIAMSBURG, NORFOLK, SUFFOLK)

• Conduct inspections at various project sites to ensure compliance with Standards and Specifications (Erosion & Sediment and Stormwater Management), as well as local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
• Provide coaching and guidance to on-site personnel regarding environmental compliance and stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) book documentation requirements.
• Perform stormwater management inspections on operational facilities and evaluation of their best management practices (BMPs).
• Dual certification (stormwater and erosion & sediment) or comparable experience required.
• Day trips to sites ~4 days/week with home office time for reports and administrative tasks.
• Safety training and PPE to be provided.
• Computer and cell phone will be provided.
• Personal vehicle mileage reimbursed.

• Hiring for two positions. Home location is flexible, but the work area would be either north and northwest Virginia-focused or southeast Virginia / northeast North Carolina-focused.
• Per diem or meals/lodging expenses may be covered depending on circumstances.
