Belcan is excited to be helping our client in hiring a SR. CSA Designer in Baytown!

Title:

SR. CSA Designer

Location:

Baytown (in office three days a week, work from home the other two)

• Professional with high technical competency who participates in CSA projects and designers’ teams.
• Influences direction of complex brownfield projects and communicates with CSA department peers, with other engineering disciplines personnel and project managers.
• Participates on projects in size up to $25mm.

• Experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.
• Experience with Structural design practices and materials (ie. steel, concrete).
• Experience with Civil design practices and materials (ie. Subsurface pipes, paving, drainage, etc.).
• Understanding of Industry design codes (i.e. ASCE, AISC, ACI, PIP, AASHTO etc.), or building code requirements (i.e. IBC).
• Education:
  
  High school diploma, associate degree, or technical training.
• Valid TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) or ability to obtain within 3 weeks upon employment initiation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Construction administration experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D and SPR.
• Ability to perform field work, basic surveying, and inspection work in process areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
