Mechanical Product Engineer

The Mechanical Product Engineer plays a critical role in engineering innovative equipment and fabrications that align with customer requirements while ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and cost‑effectiveness. This position involves cross‑functional collaboration with Project Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver exceptional equipment from ideation to production.

• Design, develop, and enhance new and existing products and product lines.
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and feedback to develop product concepts in 3D CAD.
• Evaluate and recommend specifications, ensuring products meet technical and functional requirements.
• Recommend and follow reliable, efficient, and cost‑effective procedures.
• Create technical drawings and designs that are manufacturable and provide installation drawings and supporting documentation for easy installation in the field.
• Perform feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designs.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to align designs with production capabilities and compliance standards.
• Ensure project milestones and timelines are met.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related product design experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software and PDM Software, preferably Auto Desk Inventor and Auto Desk Vault.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques, specifically in steel and sheet metal manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong organizational, critical thinking, communication, and people skills.
• Ability to protect confidential and sensitive employee information.
• Capability to manage and execute multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
• Drive to further build and develop engineering processes.
• Ability to accommodate periodic weekend or evening work when expected.

Open to remote or hybrid candidates. The work environment encourages hands‑on problem solving, fast‑paced project management, and producing high‑quality designs. Engineers are expected to balance design precision with manufacturability, field conditions, and schedule demands.

The pay range for this position is $70,981.00 – $ per year. We also offer a 401(k) plan, health benefits, company holidays, and competitive time‑off plans.
