Implant Equipment Maintenance Technician

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Implant Maintenance Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors. This position involves preventative and corrective maintenance of tool sets found in the Implant area. Tool sets include AMAT 9500, Varian E220, and Axcelis (Eaton) 6200.

• 5+ years supporting AMAT 9500 and/or Varian E220/500 (or other implant platforms)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor‑manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong electronic skills
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment

• AS in electrical, mechanical, or military training, or 10+ years relevant work experience

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

The hours are on a compressed work week, 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week one week, and 4 days a week the next week, 7am - 7pm.
