Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

POSITION: Sr. Mechanical Engineering Lead

LOCATION: 100% Remote (must live in the state of Arizona)

PAY RANGE: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

DURATION: 9-Month Contract-To-Permanent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5-10 years of experience in metals manufacturing, with a diverse background in welding, grinding, heat treating, and assembly.
• Strong knowledge in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) systems and rules.
• Strong background in CNC machining.
• Strong understanding of automation and mechatronics.
• Proven experience working in multiple industries (aerospace, medical, automotive, or similar industries.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

SUMMARY:

• Review incoming quotes/RFQ’s, determine viability, and identify necessary processes to align with business strategy.
• Troubleshoot machine and component issues, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
• Collaborate with the global team to determine the best suppliers and manage RFQs.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and make logical decisions regarding supplier capabilities.
• Participate in the design, tooling, and logistics processes as needed.
• Some travel to international locations (China, Malaysia, Turkey) as required (can expect 1 to 2 times a year).

Compensation:

$60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
