Our team in the US is growing. We are currently recruiting for a Structural Designer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Tucson or Denver offices. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting execution‑phase project in the North American mining industry. You’ll play a key role in critical project phases, from Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering to Construction, gaining hands‑on experience across a variety of commodities.

The Role
- Work within a multidisciplinary project team of designers and ensure interdisciplinary coordination when developing the models
- Develop structural models in a 3D environment using Smart Plant
- Prepare structural and concrete layout detail designs and drawings in line with project design requirements for various areas of a concentrator facility (specifically tailings thickener and filtration plants)
- Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (structural or architectural) from a recognized college
- Experience in structural steel and concrete modeling, design and drafting
- Proficiency in 2D drafting, Smart Plant 3D modeling or other 3D modeling software is a must
- Experience using S3D is required
- Well‑developed written and oral skills
- Understanding of industry regulatory codes and standards
- Site experience and shop detailing is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi‑functional project teams is a must
