Parsons Corporation – Associate Structural Bridge Engineer – Transportation Infrastructure
Entry level Junior Associate Structural Bridge Engineer in our Baltimore, Maryland office, supporting road and highway projects across the general DC, Maryland, and Virginia regions.
Responsibilities- Performs engineering duties and design for bridge design projects across State DOT and local community projects.
- Receives training on Micro Station CAD software.
- Develops engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys and designs.
- Creates engineering products under close supervision that meet customer quality requirements.
- Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
- Performs additional related tasks as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or related field) with a focus on structural classes.
- Some related work experience and/or internships in structural engineering desirable.
- EIT Certificate desirable.
- Basic process engineering knowledge and working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages.
Security Clearance Requirement:
None. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
Flexible hybrid remote working (work from home 2 days per week).
Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96 per hour.
