The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech is adding a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager (Mid-Level) specializing in Energy, Permitting, and Environmental Review to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the success of various energy projects by overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including engineers, environmental consultants, and regulatory agencies, to navigate the complexities of permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Your expertise in project management and understanding of energy sector dynamics and permitting projects will enable you to identify and mitigate risks while optimizing project resources. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.

Essential Job Functions:- Lead and manage energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals are achieved.
- Coordinate and oversee the permitting process for energy projects, including aligning with regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to financial goals.
- Collaborate with engineering and environmental teams to ensure all project specifications and compliance requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and team members, to provide project updates and gather feedback.
- Identify potential risks and obstacles throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present project documentation, including reports, proposals, and presentations, to internal teams and external partners.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
- Additional duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Land Use Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, specifically within the energy or permitting sectors.
- Strong understanding of energy regulations, permitting processes, and environmental impact assessments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Compensation:Pay commensurate with experience.
Pay Range: $95,000‑$120,000 yearly
