The hardworking coworkers of Electric Engineering ensure all manners of electric engineering—including electric standards and process safety, electric design engineering, instrumentation testing and controls, undergrounding, electric regulatory compliance and electric investment planning—are in place to safely enable a strategic and stable workplan for our Electric Operations partners. Our organization is accountable for program planning, financial budgeting, and project execution and delivery of all electric engineering projects.
Electric Engineering is comprised of approximately 2,000 coworkers.
Leads data remediation and data quality improvement projects from inception to closeout utilizing project management tools and methodologies to manage the scope, schedule and cost of multiple projects with varying complexities. This position functions under the Asset Knowledge Management (AKM) organization who is responsible for the management of PG&Es GIS database which houses more than 2 billion attributes.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the greater Sacramento area or the Bay Area.
Salary RangeBay Area Minimum: $122,000
Bay Area Maximum: $194,000
OR
California Minimum: $116,000
California Maximum: $184,000
- Manages numerous complex or major projects
- Typical project value < $50M
- Applies and adapts project management techniques
- Requires extensive risk management
- May include formal partnering agreements with other firms
- Assignments are broad and complex, have associated risks/high visibility, and can be sensitive or widely varied
Minimum:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or the appropriate technical discipline
- 8 years relevant experience
- PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
- Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Job-related experience, 10 years
- Experience as Project Manager, 6 years
- Complex problem-solving experience
- Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams to a common goal/desired outcome
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
