To support continued growth in North America, we are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive business development across the New England region
.
This is a remote, work-from-home role responsible for developing customer relationships, generating new business, and supporting technical and commercial engagements for precision-manufactured components. The ideal candidate is a technically trained sales professional with deep regional connections and a proven record of selling engineered manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy across New England
- Leverage existing relationships to generate RFQs and long-term customer partnerships
- Serve as the technical interface between customers and overseas engineering/manufacturing teams
- Support quoting activities including DFM, tooling strategy, material selection, and cost optimization
- Coordinate samples, pilot builds, and NPI programs
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms
- Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM records
- Travel locally for customer meetings as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
, Materials Science
, or a related technical discipline - 8+ years of experience in technical sales or business development within manufacturing
- Strong background in plastic injection molding (preferred) or precision mechanical components
- Established network of decision-makers in the New England manufacturing community
- Experience working with offshore manufacturing partners
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a remote environment
- Uncapped commission directly tied to sales results
