Job DescriptionAs a Quality Engineer, you will lead the Quality Review Board process, collaborate with technical leads to resolve customer feedback, and work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure the highest standards are met. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining key performance measures to track progress and success.
Responsibilities- Lead the Quality Review Board process and ensure effective resolution of issues.
- Receive and analyze customer feedback, collaborating with technical leads to understand and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, product management, quality, and supplier quality teams to understand customer and product requirements.
- Investigate and develop root causes of failures to ensure quality standards are met.
- Create, maintain, and report key performance measures (KPIs) to track and improve quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of related quality engineering experience.
- Experience working with customers or suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Experience in process engineering is a plus.
- Refrigeration experience would be an advantage.
- Project management skills.
This role requires 40% travel to the plant in Keosauqua or to customer sites, with 60% remote work involving customer communications and quality reporting. You will participate in cross-functional team meetings, bringing field data to resolve issues. Travel across the US and Canada is necessary to support North American customers.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Keosauqua, Iowa.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 – $120000.00/yr. PTO and Holiday Pay.

Per diem for travel.
