From mixed-use communities to corporate campuses and civic spaces. This is a brand-new opportunity to join a Minnesota-based consulting engineering firm.
Now hiring a Land Development Civil Engineer who has experience transforming raw land into places where people live, work, and connect.
In this role, you’ll lead the design of site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater systems, collaborating closely with architects, planners, and local reviewers to create efficient, high-performing, and sustainable sites.
This is an opportunity to work across a wide range of project types while being involved from concept through construction.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop civil design solutions for private and public land development projects from early site concept through final construction documents.
- Prepare and review site grading, drainage, and utility design plans.
- Coordinate closely with project architects, landscape architects, surveyors, and municipal agencies.
- Manage permitting processes and respond to local review comments.
- Oversee technical staff, and ensure quality control for deliverables.
- Support construction observation and problem-solving during project implementation.
- Contribute to proposals, cost estimating, and project planning efforts.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in site or land development engineering.
