Project Surveyor

Join our dynamic team as a Project Surveyor, where you will assist project managers and provide land surveying and mapping services for a variety of projects throughout Southern California. Our services encompass construction staking, ALTA land title surveys, boundary, topographic, and aerial surveys, as well as Condominium Plans, Vertical Airspace Maps, Parcel Maps, Tract Maps, legal descriptions, and laser scanning services.

We deliver high‑quality surveying solutions to engineers, developers, architects, contractors, individuals, title companies, mortgage companies, and public agencies.

• Assist field survey crews on complex survey engagements and perform survey research.
• Prepare various survey deliverables such as ALTA’s, Subdivision Maps, Legal Descriptions, Construction Staking Calculations, and Condominium Plans.
• Provide support to various Project Managers, coordinate and support field crews, and work closely with clients.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Calculate and analyze field boundary data.
• Visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and give direction to field crews for completion of survey tasks.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and CAD.
• Strong knowledge in topography, geodetic and boundary analysis, land surveying, and engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of surveying.
• Ability to utilize sound judgment, independent decision making, and prolonged focus.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time at a desk working on a computer and viewing a screen.

• California P.L.S. license preferred.
• Experience in construction staking, land surveying, and geodetic analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment working in multidisciplinary teams.

Full in‑house work is required for PLS candidates. Start times are flexible between 7‑9 am. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
