Architectural Draftsperson Job Description
We are seeking a talented Architectural Draftsperson to join our dynamic team specializing in commercial architecture projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects for prominent clients in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in architectural design and drafting, with a particular emphasis on commercial and retail spaces.
Responsibilities- Draft construction drawings for commercial architecture projects using Revit.
- Coordinate all project activities, including communication with clients, engineering trades, and internal staff members.
- Ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Engage in all phases of projects, from initial conception through to completion.
- Occasionally travel to project sites for visits and assessments.
- Full proficiency with Revit.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience within the field of architecture.
- Bachelor of Architecture or higher.
- Ability to produce construction drawings for commercial clients, with experience in supermarkets or big box retail being highly preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- Licensure track is highly advantageous.
- Experience producing full construction drawing sets within a team setting.
- Commercial architecture experience is a must, particularly in retail and big box stores such as Walmart, Target, or Home Depot.
This is a Contract to Hire position.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 – $43.26/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
