Technical Illustrator Job Description
As a Technical Illustrator, you will manage a project priority queue daily, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. You will access the server to locate assembly numbers, synchronize Solidworks files with the correct software, and convert these files to a composer program for optimized file handling. Your role includes creating the BOM (bill of materials), exploding parts, and transforming 3D models into 2D drawings for assembly manuals.
Collaboration with the engineering team will be essential to correct drawings as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year experience with Adobe Illustrator or Solidworks Composer or Project Management
- Associates degree in technical illustration preferred but not required
This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the opportunity to collaborate in a cubicle environment located in Pella, IA. The team comprises approximately 25 members spread across seven different plants, fostering collaboration with the engineering group. The work attire follows a ‘dress for your day’ policy, where jeans and a nice shirt or company polo are common. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 6/7 AM to 4 PM, with a hybrid schedule post‑initial phase.

This is a Contract position based out of PELLA, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $26.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
