The Division of the State Architect (DSA) within the Department of General Services (DGS) is looking for a District Structural Engineer to join their team at the Sacramento headquarters.

Responsibilities- Conduct visits to construction projects under the jurisdiction of DSA to ensure compliance with building code and DSA regulations
- Provide field oversight to DSA project inspectors
- Monitor construction progress and facilitate meetings with engineers, architects, inspectors, school district officials, testing labs, clients, and stakeholders
- Approve assignment of DSA inspectors for new construction projects
- Provide post-disaster building assessments
- CA driver’s license
