CAD Lead – Wireless Telecom (100% Remote)

An industry-leading telecom engineering firm is seeking an experienced CAD Lead to join its wireless telecom team. You’ll play a critical role in QA / QC and production for telecom infrastructure projects—including wireless towers, rooftop equipment, small cell deployments, and fiber builds.
This is a remote , full-time contract-to-hire role with strong growth potential. The hiring team is moving quickly!
Key Responsibilities- Lead QA / QC and production of construction drawings for wireless telecom projects
- Oversee and mentor CAD drafters ; manage deadlines and review deliverables
- Develop and refine standard prototypes and details
- Conduct field walks as needed for site data
Collaborate with Project Engineers to ensure quality and schedule adherence
Requirements- ~ + / - 10years CADD design experience in the wireless telecom industry
- Expert in AutoCAD ; advanced user
- Strong experience with small cell , right-of-way , fiber , and wireless tower projects
- 10+ years working in networked / shared CAD environments
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
- Proven leadership in drafting, QA / QC, and team management
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
Additional Details- Remote , must be able to work EST hours
- M–F, flexible hours (as early as 6 : 30 AM ET)
- Full-Time, Long-Term (W2 with benefits)
- Contract-to-Hire opportunity (FTE conversion potential after ~ 6 months)
- Minimal overtime
- No travel required
