We are seeking an experienced Director of Project Development to lead water and wastewater engineering projects for municipal and industrial clients. This role combines business development , project management , and engineering leadership to deliver innovative solutions for treatment plants , pumping stations , pipelines , and related infrastructure. This is a client facing / business development strategic role for someone with Texas water market experience with project leadership and local market relationships.
ResponsibilitiesLead proposal development , pricing strategies, and client negotiations for RFQs and RFPs
Oversee project planning , design , permitting , and construction support
Develop procurement strategies , project schedules , and cost estimates
Manage client relationships and pursue repeat business opportunities
Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering and project teams
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering , Environmental Engineering , or Mechanical Engineering
15+ years of experience in municipal water / wastewater engineering and consulting
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Proven success in project management , proposal writing , and public presentations
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
