Enterprise Integration Architect, Domain Principal (Remote)

Care First Blue Cross Blue Shield is looking for an Enterprise Integration Architect to lead domain architecture strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of domain architecture viewpoints and models depicting current, target, and interim states; analyze pain points and opportunities; create architecture patterns and ensure alignment with IT strategies.
• Design, engineer, and implement assets to improve solution quality; conduct peer reviews, represent the architecture domain in briefings, and maintain the architecture repository.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to maximize architecture impact, evaluate and select solutions/products, and address technical limitations.
• Research emerging domain trends and determine their relevance and fit.
• Lead vendor evaluations and selection processes, represent the domain in RFIs/RFPs, and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Develop and enhance architecture domain methods and tools, ensuring integration with other domains and SDLC disciplines; lead development of domain‑related communications and education material.
• Conduct domain assessments for complex projects, provide input to roadmaps, and report progress and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or 4 additional years of relevant work experience if no degree).
• Experience:
  
  10 years experience in Architecture Domain.
• Preferred:
  Advanced degree.
• Certifications:
  
  Certified System Architect (upon hire preferred).

Salary Range

$152,080 - $271,843 (depending on experience, location, and internal equity).
