Civil Designer
We are seeking a talented Civil Designer with a keen interest in land development to join our dynamic team. As a Civil Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing land and site projects using cutting‑edge technology.
Responsibilities- Design and develop land and site projects using Civil 3D software.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure project designs meet required specifications.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to gather data and insights for project development.
- Work remotely and efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high‑quality standards.
- Participate in virtual or in‑person meetings as required depending on location.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience in land development and site development projects.
- Strong understanding of grading and drainage design.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within a small engineering firm is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
The role primarily involves remote work, with the flexibility to work from home. Occasionally visits to the Minnetonka office may be required for collaboration and meetings. The work environment is supportive and encourages collaboration via virtual platforms such as Teams.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minnetonka, MN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 – $40.00/hr.
