Our client is currently seeking a talented Engineer to join their team and support them with a new Offshore Wind project. This is a Senior / Lead / Principal role for Offshore Wind Foundation design.

Essential to have senior engineering experience offshore wind structures – ideally foundations.

As Lead, you will provide technical input on foundations during the full lifecycle of development and operations. Managing Offshore Wind Foundation Design Contracts. Working across Engineering, Construction and Procurement.

• Writing / reviewing / improving Employer’s Technical and Engineering Requirements
• Review of bidders’ technical offers
• Involvement in technical clarifications
• Assist design development clarifications
• Estimates of CAPEX and OPEX impacts

• Structural engineering experience within FEED / Pre FEED for the Offshore Wind sector.
• Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in offshore wind turbine foundation design.
• Proficient in Primary Steel Structure design engineering for Offshore Wind.
• Experience in Design Engineering of Monopiles or Jackets.
• Experience working with developer / EPCI contractor on Offshore structures.

• Design of Primary or Secondary Steel for Offshore Wind.
• Transportation & Installation for OWF &/ Fabrication &/ Construction.
• Loads Analysis, specifically offshore loading and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations.
• Experience in Owner’s Engineering, Package Management, Engineering Management or Contract Management.
• Certifications from agencies like DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas, etc.
• Offshore Wind Foundation design practices and developments.
• Offshore wind regulations, codes of practice, and design standards.
• Ideally Chartered Engineer or progressing towards chartered status.
