As an Electrical Designer, you’ll be instrumental in shaping innovative solutions for complex marine engineering projects. Your work will ensure that our designs meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency—making a real difference to national security and infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your technical expertise while contributing to projects that matter.

This role is full time and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

• Preparing and producing CAD 3D models and drawings across all design lifecycle phases
• Delivering clash‑free cable management systems and electrical penetration models
• Creating CAD 2D installation and fabrication drawings, including diagrams, layouts, and schedules
• Liaising with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure design coordination and functionality
• Developing innovative design solutions and resolving technical queries.

• Strong technical knowledge in electrical design and manufacturing outputs
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D software
• Ability to work independently and within project teams
• Experience in resolving technical and production queries
• Knowledge of marine or commercial electrical systems is advantageous.

• Minimum NC or equivalent in Electrical & Electronic Engineering systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D; knowledge of CMPic is desirable
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with ISO standards and design lifecycle processes.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
