Automotive Systems Engineer

Atlantic Talent is proud to be partnered with a pioneering company at the forefront of automotive technology. Our client specialises in developing advanced software solutions that power autonomous driving, connected car technology, and smart mobility solutions.

• This is a hybrid role, and will require 2 days on site each week.
• Design and develop advanced automotive systems such as autonomous driving modules, and vehicle networking systems.
• Analyse system requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications, includingdefining system architecture, and component selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to integrate automotive systems into the overall vehicle design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during development and production stages. This includes root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a systems engineering environment, ideally with a focus on automotive technology.
• Bachelor's in Systems Engineering,Computer Engineering, or a related IT or Engineering field.
• Proficiency in using automotive software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and dSPACE. Knowledge of programming languages including Python or C++ is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Great problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Prior experience in an automotive environment is desirable but not essential.
