Your responsibilities will include leading a construction inspection team and executing various technical tasks related to transportation construction projects. You will ensure that all activities adhere to approved plans, standards, and specifications. This entails supervising the inspection of materials and workmanship, as well as guiding contractors and team members on sampling, testing, and inspection methods. As the inspector-in-charge, you will also verify cut and fill operations, assess elevation grades, and oversee the inspection and placement of materials.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, on an ad hoc basis. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. - Salary:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Transportation Construction Inspector (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of construction inspection experience and an associate’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, geotechnical engineering, surveying engineering technology, or a closely related engineering technology; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- This position requires possession of a valid non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C Driver’s License or equivalent.
